Why learn to Square Dance?

Square Dancing is fun, affordable, and something you can enjoy year‑round for most of your life. It blends physical movement, mental challenge, and social connection—an unbeatable combination for staying active, sharp, and joyful. If you can walk and clasp hands, you can square dance!

Dancers choose their own energy level—some glide, some whirl—but everyone moves through the same calls together. Dancing also keeps your brain engaged as you listen, remember, and physically respond to calls in real time, with lessons that teach each skill step by step to help you stay mentally agile. Most importantly, Square Dancing attracts warm, welcoming people.

Our club dances on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays, followed by refreshments and social time, and we enjoy outings and gatherings throughout the year. When you join, you’re joining a community that feels like family. Looking forward to seeing you on the dance floor,

Sarah Richmond
